1. Unzip (WinZip free) the files into a directory so they are ready for uploading. Check that you have the 7 files in the shoutiT! folder. If not go to endity.com and download shoutiT! again.

2. Open up your ftp program (SmartFTP free) and navigate to your domain. upload the shoutiT! folder with the 7 files in it. CHMOD board.txt and history.txt to '0777' (IMPORTANT you must CHMOD the files otherwise it wont work!!).

3. Include the following display code into your webpage where you want the shouiT! board to be displayed:

Remeber to change yourdomain.com to the suitable URL. You can run the board from going to http://www.yourdomain.com/shoutit but use the above code if you want the board to be put on a webpage.

Q. Im getting an error message that says: "error when reading board.txt" (or history.txt)
A. Open up the shoutiT! directory, right click board.txt and CHMOD it to '0777'.

Q. My shoutiT! board wont display!
A. Have you changed the URL in the display code? 'http://yourdomain.com' must be changed:

Notes

1) It is recommended that you occasionally re-upload board.txt to refresh the board. The messages will be deleted from the boardview but every message ever posted can be viewed by clicking history.
